LEANNE BENDER-PATTINSON, BSC, ND

After practicing in Barrie for the past few years, Dr. Leanne decided it was time to move back to area as she wanted to be closer to her home town of Tavistock! Dr. Leanne attended the University of Western Ontario where she earned an Honours Science Degree in Biology and Environmental Science. She then attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto where she completed a 4 year full-time program in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Leanne enjoys working with individuals who have hormone related complaints and cardiovascular disease risk factors, including high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes. She also enjoys helping patients who have difficulties with sleep, weight management, thyroid disorders, depression and anxiety. Dr. Leanne has a special interest in women’s health, including fertility concerns, pregnancy and pre- and post-natal care. Dr. Leanne utilizes a wide range of therapeutic modalities, including acupuncture. She is also a faculty member at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge , where she teaches pathology, physiology and microbiology. Dr. Leanne has a 3.5 year old daughter, Jaida who keeps her on her toes!
